    The concept that underlies the design of Madinaty, which covers 33.6 million square meters, is providing an exceptional style of living in a modern city with all its varied needs. A 27.3 million square meters area of the project is devoted to residential areas, each stage being provided with a set of fully integrated household services. In addition to the above, there is also an area of 6.3 million square meters dedicated to services the city’s inhabitants as well as Greater Cairo residents.

    Upon the completion of any phase, the execution of the project ensures the provision of services in parallel with each phase of the project concurrently. Each phase is connected by a network of roads to the highways outside Madinaty in addition to two ring roads which link the phases together allowing residents free access to services in other sections of the city, and consequently providing them with a wider choice of services.

    Parking is readily available in residential and service areas. Capacity has been planned in accordance with expected population density levels. Care was also taken to plan for pedestrian-only areas to guarantee our client’s comfort and enjoyment.

Talaat Moustafa Group signs contract with Egypt’s performance training experts Ignite for the opening of a new location at Open Air Mall in Madinaty - Cairo, Egypt.

TMG the leading real estate developer in Egypt has announced that it has signed a contract with Ignite Egypt, the performance training experts to open a new location at Open Air Mall at Madinaty. Ignite’s training facility will occupy an area close to 2,500 sqm and is planned to open by early 2022. The agreement is set to enrich the mall’s offering and will provide the close by community with the opportunity to train at one of Egypt’s best health and wellness facilities. Ignite are well known for their services that are founded on the strong belief of changing lives to the better by empowering humans through sports.
Ignite’s new Madinaty branch will house a fully-fledged gym, and offer injury rehabilitation and fitness group training among other services. Since opening their first facility back in 2016, Ignite have been recognized as leaders in the health and wellness field and have trained top professional athletes and Olympians across many sports. The training facility at Open Air Mall will mark Ignite’s expansion as it becomes the 7th facility operated by the performance training experts and it is set to be one of Egypt’s largest health & wellness facilities.
The contract was signed on Monday 18th October 2021 in an official ceremony held at Open Air Mall. Mr. Omar Hisham Talaat, Chief Business Development Officer at TMG Holding and Mr. Hussein Abdeldayem, CEO of Ignite Performance Training inked the agreement at Open Air Mall.
Open Air Mall is one of the largest upcoming shopping and lifestyle destinations in Egypt and the Middle East. The mall is made up of 92,000 sqm of GLA spread across 8 different themed buildings. The mall has been operational in a “soft launch” mode since 2019 with the opening of two its eight buildings. One of which anchored by Carrefour Hypermarket and the other boasts a 15-screen cinema complex that offers the latest in projection technology.
Open Air Mall is planning to soon open the third and fourth buildings before the end of the year. The third building will house a Food Hall which will cater to every taste and it will feature the best international food outlets consisting of local and regional chains. The fourth building is a uniquely designed Family Entertainment Center that will offer families with “first to market,” experiences which will surely leave them thrilled.
The Mall will offer its visitors and shoppers with never been seen experiences in Egypt. Inspired by the San Francisco Tram, the Mall will feature 4 trams built on a historic undercarriage from a 1950s trolley streetcar that will travel along the mall’s promenade connecting the different buildings in fun filled rides.
The mall is easily accessible to shoppers and is located in East Cairo on the Cairo-Suez Highway. Open Air Mall is only a 10 to 20-minute drive from New Cairo, the New Capital and Al Rehab City, it is also strategically located in close proximity to the 1st, 3rd and 5th settlements. It has a direct catchment area of approximately 4.5 million people. Although not yet fully operational, the mall already draws healthy footfall averaging 30,000 customers per day.
